In order to get a Lisboa Viva card, you should go to a Scotturb point of sale or authorised agent and fill in a request form for this purpose.
The issued card will then be sent to the point of sale or authorised agent within ten workdays, where you will be required to pick it up.
If you pay an urgency fee of €5,00, you may receive your Lisboa Viva card within five workdays.

The 4_18 passes are intended for students between the ages of four and 18 who are not enrolled in higher education, do not use a school bus provided by the municipalities, and either have social benefits provided by the school or whose family household's monthly income is equal to or lower than 1.2 x social support indexation.
The sub23 passes are intended for students up to the age of 23 who are enrolled in higher education and either have social benefits provided by the institution of education or whose family household's monthly income is equal to or lower than 1.2 x social support indexation.
If you happen to forget your pass, you should purchase an on-board fare for the route that you intend to take.
The Viva Viagem card is personal and may only be validated by one person on each trip.
Pursuant to paragraph a) in No. 5 of Article 40 of the VAT Code, public transportation companies are exempt from issuing invoices for transportation tickets, that is, when providing transportation services, there is no requirement to issue an invoice, but only a transportation ticket or associated receipt proving its purchase.
Hence, whenever customers request an invoice for a ticket purchased on a bus, they may request so up to the fifth day of the month following purchase by filling in a form for the purpose and providing proof of purchase at a point of sale or customer support office.

Pursuant to the RTA (Transport Regulation) through Article 12 of Decree-Law 9/2015, from January 15th, prams are considered as luggage; therefore, they should be properly secured as not to endanger or burden anyone during transportation.
Hence, concerning the transportation of children in prams, adults accompanying them should remove the child from the pram and close the latter in order to travel with the child on their lap on a seat reserved for this purpose (or any other).
Bicycles are not allowed on a passenger bus unless they can be folded and placed as not to burden or endanger passengers.
Pets are allowed on a passenger bus as long as they are properly accommodated in cases for the purpose, unless the latter burden other passengers or damage the bus due to their size or nature.
